Located above the Starr Hill Brewery (formerly the Blue Ridge Brewery, The Starr Hill Music Center is a breath of fresh air in the citys live music scene.Located in a dramatic, loft-like studio and decorated by somebody with impeccable sensibilities, this performance space is about as far from a dive as you can get while still maintaining a bar atmosphere. Magnificent red-and- yellow glass sconces grace pristine white brick walls; intricate wrought-iron star motifs tie the space to the restaurant below; and arched palladian windows provide a great view of West Main Streets comings and goings.
