Located on the downtown mall, Zocalo was a restaurant my friends and family chose to try out of the blue one weekend. It instantly became one of our favorite restaurants..peroid. Friends from Richmond, family from D.C. share this feeling. A menu that changes just slightly with the seasons always offers refreshing presentations. The Duck was delicious ( not greasy tasting as often happens ). The steak and the salmon dishes, excellent. My personal favorite is the Chili dusted Sea Scallops. I 've been a dozen times and the service has always been wonderful. Price ranges 12- 26 dollars. Good wine list, good beer offerings. You won't be disappointed.  More Reviews

After many visits, nothing but wonderful service, very good pizza. Any pizza place is going to take 20 minutes or more to prepare unless called in ahead of time. At least it is fresh, not pre- cooked and like cardboard.  More Reviews
