Finally a place where size and sexuality don't matter. It may be a lesbian and gay bar, but it's also a great place for open-minded straight people.Nestled in the heart of Chicago's Uptown neighborhood, it's a welcoming, cozy neighborhood bar that draws people from all over the city. Owner Michelle Fire has decorated every single wall in Big Chick's with photographs, sketches and paintings from her private art collection. All the works feature Rubenesque women.The diverse crowds at Big Chick's range from young and lively to older and laid back. Big Chick's is a place where you can have a good dance and some good conversation, without loud music drowning you out.Attire: Your best white T-shirt and a pair of Levi's will do. Once a month Big Chick's also hosts "Feast of Fools," a night devoted to performance art pieces. Big Chick's has a dance floor on weekends, pools tables and in the summer, patrons use the outdoor space, which has tables and benches. There's never any cover charge at Big Chick's.-- Regina Waldroup
