For now, it's brunchtime only at this artsy eatery owned by Michelle Fire, the towering proprietor of lesbigay hot spot Big Chicks. Located next door to the animated dance club, Tweet is a funky little restaurant with plenty of character. You'll find Fire mingling among the tables, greeting guests and sometimes even taking orders. The spot is cheery, filled with artwork from local artists and a friendly, welcoming vibe. Fire is such a big fan of local artists that she's named dishes after them, such as the breakfast burrito, buckwheat pancakes and omelets, which are made with Amish farm eggs. The weekend-only restaurant should be a favorite with Big Chicks' regulars, who also frequent the club on Sunday afternoons for the softball tournaments. -- Audarshia Townsend

simply flawless!

i have never in my life had a more flawless dining experience than i had at tweet for sunday brunch. i was there for a birthday celebration/brunch with 9 other friends. our waiter (be sure to ask for ben!) didn't skip a beat. as far as waiters go, he's the model to follow! friendly, attentive, not pushy, and allowed us our space. beside our waiter, all the other staff was as equally attentive and on point. as for the food....what a feast for the palate! i have never had eggs benedict quite this good. everything was presented beautifully and professionally. i asked everyone else at my table how their food was, and the responses were all smiles and eye rolls! the only word i can use, and i hate to use it again is FLAWLESS. if you do not dine at least once at tweet, you haven't lived! don't miss this gem of a restaurant!
