Friendly, foot-stompin' fun awaits you at Charlie's where a dance floor lit up by a big mirrored boot plays home to one of Chicago's premier gay country-western clubs.Blessed with a first-class sound system that blares out favorites like "Boot Scootin' Boogie and "Chattahoochee," Charlie's accommodates approximately 350 people seven days a week well into the wee hours, and has been doing so for going on 20 years. No cover, no minimum - just lots of dancing, some drinking, and the occasional Sunday afternoon barbecue contribute to a great neighborhood institution.In addition to entertainment and exercise, leather chaps and cowboy hats, Charlie's has a commitment to the community.
