One of Lincoln Park's most treasured taverns continues to reinvent itself as newer and hipper night spots emerge nearby. Deja Vu is one of the few after-hours bars in Lincoln Park and is popular with the under-30 set. The mostly post-collegiate crowd comes for the music, which is delivered nightly by local DJs, and the drink specials, which vary from $1.50 domestic drafts to $3 well cocktails. Deja Vu's layout is simple: hardwood accents, including the long, winding bar and furniture, checkered floor tiles and an upstairs lair-type lounge with cushy sofas and dim lights. Music varies from contemporary hip-hop and rock to old-school beats and soul for late-night frolicking.
