The ScenePart of an American chain that has true Erin roots, Fado has "Irish" decor down: stone formations, looms, trunks and garish Celtic imagery. The first floor is bar, angles and alcoves. The mezzanine is a faux ship's deck, with one long, curved banquette and few tables. Second-floor tables are mostly tiny, with little elbow room; seats are hard, backless stools.The DrawThis faux olde Irish pub offers theme-entertainment and a full bar to tourists and River North office workers, plus it serves an undeniably nice pint of Guinness (and many other brews), thanks to the state-of-the-art European gassing system. This and the occasional live Irish folk music lend warm authenticity. The food menu offers the usual suspects of fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and boxty (potato pancake with filling), as well as American favorites like chicken fingers, sandwiches and salads.

THIS IS CHICAGOS HIDDEN SECRET OF GREATNESS.GREAT FOOD FANTASTIC ATOMSPHERE A HAPPY STAFF OF GREAT PEOPLE FROM THE OWNER DOWN TO THE BARMAIDS AND BARTENDERS.FROM THE EURO SPORTS ON THE BIG SCREEN TO GREAT FOOD.IT'S IRISH, IT'S FUN,IT'S FADOS.IF YOU DONT LOVE FADOS YOU DONT LOVE LIFE.

IF YOU THINK THIS A TOURIST TRAP THEN YOU MUST BE FROM THE SOUTHSIDE.THE STAFF OF FADOS IS THE BEST.THE FOOD IS THE BEST THE CROWD AND THE WHOLE EXPIERENCE CANT BE BEAT.DO ME A FAVOR IF COMMING DOWNTOWN FOR YOU IS TO MUCH FOR THEN STAY HOME CUZ FADOS IS SOMETHING YOU MISS.
