Chicago nightlife promoter Dion Antic (of Bar 13, Liquid Kitty, Harrys Velvet Room and more), closed his tiny restaurant Deville to open up the slightly larger, but still intimate Firefly on Halsted Street. The loungy corner restaurant features romantic booths draped with curtains for a more private feel, as well as tables for two and stools lined up at the bar. French-American specialties include a balsamic glazed salmon, a chicken and brie sandwich with walnut spread and baby spinach, and steak frittes. A robust wine list and martini specialties draw the Boys Town pre-club crowd for late-night dining and drinks. -- Emily Hiser

On several occasions we've dined & cocktailed very happily. The servers are genuine and friendly and the food is fabulous!!! Always a safe call for any night.

This place is ok..Needs some more space..What where they thinking...The food is good. The service is very poor ..Don't bother trying to get a reservation of 6 or more. They have never got it right !! I would pass on this place unless someone else is buying !!
