Rate and Write a Review A trip to Lincoln Park's bars wouldn't be complete without going to this venerable Irish watering hole that's been around since the turn of the century. Glascott's served as a home base for working-class Irish immigrants at that time, but now it's a haven for young professionals who frequent the area's nightlife options. There is a big-screen television and several smaller monitors for customers to watch sports and ''reality'' shows. Tall, wooden barstools line the long bar and encourage people to stay a while. Also, there's 26 beers -- 14 on draft and 12 in bottles -- including domestics, imports and microbrews. Filled with sports fans and professionals winding down for the day, the bar is typically low-key. The most energetic night is St. Patrick's Day when a live band performs. In the rear is a private party room that accommodates about 40. -- Audarshia Townsend
