Rate and Write a Review Goth culture is alive and thriving. If you ever wondered where the black-claden, vampire types hang, look no further. In the heart of Lincoln Park -- land of khakis and college sports -- you'll find one of Chicago's oldest alternative dance clubs. Go to the end of the alley at Clark and Fullerton -- if you dare -- and venture into this extra-dark nightclub for some of the best industrial music on the planet. DJs spin ear-bleeding sounds by such punk legends as Skinny Puppy, KMFDM, NIN and Depeche Mode. You'll hear the old stuff as well as the latest sounds as DJs spin groovy New Wave, headbashing Goth stuff and everything in between. Or, if you're not much of a dancer, people-watching is definitely a full-on activity here. You'll practically snap your neck checking the scene, from the ultra-broody types writhing on the dance floor to the time-warp look of the place. It's full of chrome and hasn't had a makeover in more than 15 years, but every week Neo draws in its fans by the drove. -- Audarshia Townsend
