Chicago's most famous pizza family continues its reign as Rudy Malnati opens his third pizza joint. Pizano's Pizza & Pasta, which also has two other locations in the city, shares a lineage of dough, sauce and meatballs with Lou Malnati's and Pizzeria Uno. But unlike the founding Pizzeria Uno, which attracts mostly a tourist crowd in its River North home, Pizano's gets the Loop workers. Order deep dish or thin crust that's made on the family's famous buttery crust. And for those hanging out in the Loop after hours, Pizano's keeps the hours late, as the kitchen stays open until 1AM. A children's menu is available, which offers kiddie faves such as chicken fingers and spaghetti. The first location is in the North Loop, while the second is in the heart of Wrigleyville.

Great Pizza!
By blews1119 on 03/16/2007
This delicious pizza is one of the best I have ever had. We ate our way around the outside of the pizza gobbling up the wonderful buttery crust. The pizza is so good that my friend and I ate there two days in a row while visiting Chicago. The music volume made talking difficult. Friendly staff, good tap beer, great pizza, and very inexpensive... I highly recommend Pizano's!
