Rockit Bar & Grill is located in the heart of the booming River North neighborhood at 22 West Hubbard Street. The brainchild of partners Billy Dec, Brad Young, and Arturo Gomez, Rockit Bar & Grill leads the traditional bar and grill with a culinary twist and a comfortable, stylish atmosphere that blends natural elements with sleek, modern design. With an impressive team of culinary, design and management professionals, Dec, Young, and Gomez filled an untapped niche in Chicago: an energetic restaurant and lounge that features affordable, delicious cuisine in a highly designed space. Rockit Bar & Grill has been acclaimed by the Chicago Sun Times stating,? A sophisticated casually provocative restaurant; ? ABC 7 dining critic James Ward voted Rockit Bar & Grill a 9 / 10 and states the food is ?simple and entertaining; Bon Appetite calls Rockit Bar & Grill?s menu ?ambitious? and Conde Nast Traveler calls Rockit Bar & Grill ?one of the top new concepts in the world.

Rockit hits or misses...
By CayennePapa on 05/16/2008
The Kobe Burger served with Truffle Fries is very good - as it should be at $20 a pop... (I know this is off point: but had their Lobster Burger twice now : once it was very very good and once it was fair-to-middling...) The servers/service IS consistently good - but the whole vibe is too trendy and young for us over 35 types...
