Whether it's the heavy rotation of videos or parade of pretty boys, one thing's for sure: Sidetrack is one of the busiest bars in Boys Town. Seven nights a week, there's a flurry of flicks on the multiple monitors, from 1980s pop stars like A Flock of Seagulls and Paula Abdul to video excerpts of musical hits like "West Side Story" and "Cabaret." This is a lively spot as folks sing along to the show tunes. Sidetrack is composed of several large rooms, adding up to three bars that are always bristling with activity. Hardwood floors are combined with stainless steel bars and fixtures, and colorful liquor bottles line the exposed brick walls. During the summer, you can grab a cocktail and head to the outdoor patio for moments of quiet conversation. -- Audarshia Townsend

If you want to be alone...

...then go to Sidetrack. For a big city that is supposed to be so welcoming to others , a bar this big should be big on customer service. There is none , unless you are a regular or flash a wad of bills to the bartenders. The clientele reflects this attitude. It's a "see and be seen" bar where everyone wants to be seen , but not friendly to strangers. That's not your imagination , what you see is alot of noses pointed in the air. Alot of snobbery. Drinks are good , but pricey , hence the clientele. They could take notes from some of the other "friendlier" bars in town...
