Aloha Grill, a casual eatery catering to young professionals always on the lookout for something exciting and exotic, features Hawaiian-style barbecue. According to the owner, what sets this specialty barbecue apart from the finger-licking, All-American grub is in the sauce, but it's not what you think. Here, the special ingredient is soy sauce -- not sweet and sour -- that zips in an Asian flavor as well. Menu items include generous portions of barbecue chicken, pork and beef, which are all served with rice, French fries or macaroni salad. Other specialties include the chicken katsu, which is served breaded, and some Spam (yes, Spam!) entrees and appetizers. Tiny and trendy, the restaurant is usually booming with the latest in hip-hop and pop music.
