Atmosphere Andersonville   

I've had some bad experiences at this bar, too. Drinks seem watered down and I have seen much "classier" strip bars (if there is such a thing). A few years ago, I really enjoyed this place, but lately t seems like it is turning into a ***** house. I understand doomen and bartenders talk to their friends when they are not busy, but I've had to wait at the bar several times while the bartenders finish their conversations with their friends. Do your job first, then socialize all you want. My impressions of this place from the doorman to the bartender is that they are their to socialize first and actually do their jobs when they feel like it. I don't care if you are a regular or first time visitor. Service should always be a priority. Don't work at a bar if you are only there to flirt and pick up one night stands Sure, the one doorman seems nice, until you get on his bad side. There have been times I've seen him extremely rude to customers and on some kind of power trip. Then other times it looks like he's working the room to see who's next to go home with. I've seen other doomen here who seem a little more professional, maybe the bar should give more hours to the other doormen/women. To the other reviewers who like the doorman...I'm not sure if we are talking about the same person. Like I said, this place used to be good, but it seems like it is turning into another Lucky Horseshoe. Chicago doesn't need another ***** house strip club.

been in Chicago over a year and Atmosphere became one of my favorite bar in Andersonville Anyone that says doorman and bartenders are not friendly I say go FYS! the doorman always greets me with a smile super friendly . All doorman and bartenders talk to their friends while working when they are not busy . I love Atmosphere because they have strippers just what I like! they have a new drink called espresso vodka this drink is awesome!!! MMmmm . thank you @tmosphere :)

Ended up at Atmosphere last night to celebrate a friend's birthday, and had an absolute blast. Everyone on the staff was friendly and fun, great drinks and simply good vibes from friends and strangers alike! I can't wait to make a return visit, to my new "home" bar!
