Rate and Write a Review Get off the beaten breakfast path and head over to the East Village for something beyond the usual bacon and eggs. A former house transformed into a restaurant, The Breakfast Club offers a hip yet homey atmosphere where the area's young professionals come for morning and afternoon sustenance. Omelets, pancakes, waffles, and biscuits and gravy are served with a punch; the OJ is freshly squeezed. Lunch specials, which change daily, include walleye pike, ravioli, meat loaf with mashed potatoes and herb-crusted pork loin. Alcoholic beverages include Bloody Marys, mimosas, beer and wine.

Best hash browns ever
A very friendly place. My omelette was excellent, and the hash browns that came with it were superb. Instead of a greasy mass of stringy potato pieces, the hash browns were delicious chunks of potato that were not greasy at all.
Now, about that review by MustchPete: You didn't have the brains to figure out what hours the place was open, so you showed up when it was closed -- and then give it one star as a little tantrum. Dude, you're lame.
When are they open?
Went there and they were closed up
I don't want to be in the club
Don't order Steak benedict...the hollandaise sauce is horrible and so are the potatoes...the french toast was nothing special (even though it was rated # 1). I like the restaurant Toast (Webster or Damen) much better they have the most amazing food and great grilled tenderloin benedict...yumm
