Singled out? Looking for love in all the wrong places? Butch McGuire's has reigned as king of the singles scene since the 1960s when Hugh Hefner was a regular customer. Butch McGuire, the owner, boasts that countless couples met here and eventually got married. The legendary Division Street bar still gets a hefty crowd of singles who come to mingle with the opposite sex, soak up suds and watch sports on several television monitors. The look is timeless, filled with sturdy wood barstools and tables, tasteful pictures of nude women and vintage games (pool tables, darts). The bar is also well known for its holiday cheer around St. Patrick's Day and Christmas; lavish decorations include a two-track model train display and an oversized smiling Grinch. -- Audarshia Townsend

THEY HAVE 26 PLUS DRAFT BEERS THAT ARE SERVED COLD. UNLIKE MOST BAR'S ON DIVISION ST AND THE REST OF THE CITY. GREAT BURGERS AND WINGS AT GOOD PRICES.

Not the old Butch McGuire's

I have been traveling to Chicago to attend Cubs games since 1998. This has been a pitiful year for Butch's - I do not know why. Just not as fun as it was. Oh well, there's always next year.
