Minutes away from the Loop and a few blocks from the United Center, Carmichael's is a favorite for hardcore carnivores for its hearty portions of steak, ribeye and prime rib. Seafood fans will be delighted to find excellent choices too, including the salmon and shrimp cocktail. More laid-back than Sullivan's, Capital Grille or Smith & Wollensky, the restaurant offers an atmosphere that is top shelf without the stuffiness. On weeknights -- when there's no game at United Center -- guests can enjoy their table conversations as light piano music floats in from the bar. An outdoor courtyard seats 100. Carmichael's also offers free shuttles to and from the United Center for big-name concerts and game season.

This place is amazing!
Carmichael's has great food, great staff, great atmosphere and overall a great chef. The food is amazing, salads and dessert's are fantastic! Their kitchen crew seem very focus and passionate about what they're doing and it really shows on the plate. Best steaks around no doubt!
wasn't for me
i thought this place was cute and the people were sweet, and i really wanted to like it, but not so much. HUGE, heavy portions at ridiculous prices. the food was pretty good taste wise, but 2 of the 4 people we ate with were so dissapointed they suggested leaving. the ribs were delicious i can say, but overall, i wasnt really impressed.
