Long overdue, this Uptown sports bar and restaurant caters to the gay/lesbian community. From pro baseball and football to more obscure -- and sexier games -- like gymnastics and synchronized swimming, the multiple televisions at Crew (including a 92-inch screen, HDTV and satellite) will show the whole gamut. Similar to the Lincoln Park watering holes, this fab-u-lous lounge features a nice selection of drinks and eats. Munchies include Santa Fe chicken egg rolls, mini-burgers, salads (fire-grilled cobb, pepper-parm chicken Caesar, Popeyes spinach salad, East Coast crabmeat salad), and burgers and sandwiches (double-fisted burger, buffalo chicken Po' Boy, a twisted BLT and a California wrap). When the games are over, guests will feel the need to hang around for the latest in music and videos. Step up to the bar for cocktails, one of Crew's selection of 40 beers on tap and in bottles, or try the signature drink, the Beergarita.

I LOVE your wings!!!!!!

In my book, this place still has the best wings in town. You guys should sell those sauces. That "sassy" is crazy good.

A Place To Go
By BobDom on 05/21/2008
What more can you ask for? The service is great, the food, very good, the drinks, flowing, the crowd, friendly and sports, sports, sports of all kinds to die for. Even Sox games, so you know that this north side sports palace is welcoming to all.

great hangout
By Sfrajett on 05/12/2008
Crew is a great place to hang out. The bar is welcoming and the crowd is mostly gay, which takes away the usual menacing, macho frat-boy quality of many sports bars. Food is a notch above most bar menus, and the Mexican eggrolls are fantastic. Women feel welcome here. A great place to go with all your friends, no matter what team they play for.
