Al's No 1 Italian Beef   

Al's. On Taylor. What could possibly sound better. Unfortunately, that's as good as it gets. The finger food sized beef sandwiches are way overpriced and bland. I'm not expecting a large filet at $5+ but don't let me walk away hungry either. Needless to say, I won't be back. I'll take the extra trip and head over to Ricobene's on 26th.

I have had no Better beef sandwich anywhere that compares to Al's. Get it dipped and enjoy every bite. Al's are all franchises now and this one beats em all! The Addison store is close by, but I would pay fro delivery to the Western suburbs in a heart beat from downtown!

The best beef sandwich I had was from a chain called Luke's (now Torry and Lukes), and Portillo's came in 2nd, but Portillo's had better fries. I live in LA now, and I have to go to Las Vegas to get a beef sandwich. There are 3 beef places there. The name is Bono's. The owner is from Chitown.
