Athena Restaurant   

I will NEVER go back here. I threw a birthday party for my husband and told them in advance that I wanted appetizers and drinks and what my budget was. The rude, arrogant waiter (who, by the way seems to have woman issues because he wouldn't acknowledge me even though I was paying) went $500 over my budget. He was defiant, rude and unhelpful. Every one of my 25+ guests were asking what the heck was wrong with our waiter. They don't caer about the customer here.

While the food was good, not great, we enjoyed the first half of our dinner on a weekday night. The restaurant was not at all busy, about three tables in the whole restaurant were in use, but midstream four tables were filled right around us with large groups of six or more noisy patrons to the extent that we could not hear each other speak. With a staff of waiters standing in line, what's the idea of grouping everyone together? When we left, we said we would have liked to stay later had the noise in the small corner been not so distracting. The hostess and wait staff just shrugged their shoulders and said the other tables had asked for that location when they made their reservations. Will we go back? Unlikely.

Athena's a great restaurant for true Greek cuisine. Half of the menu (on restaurantplace.com) I can't pronouce. They off delivery so if you are lazy like me enjoy this restaurant in your pajamas.
