This coffee and sandwich shop is a great place to enjoy a meal, or to simply sit and read. If reading is not your thing, you can play chess, checkers or one of the other games resting on the old bookshelves that line the walls. The menu holds a selection of healthy choices, and a range of coffees tempt all to enjoy a warm liquid treat. The place almost always seems quiet, which is why so many DePaul students use it as a study hall. Most of the regulars are young, but this is a place that anyone could enjoy. It's one of the few stress-free spots around, so don't miss it.

Nice place, crowded, trendy-ish
Had breakfast. Coffee was okay, not simply colored water. Cookies & muffins were good. Breakfast panini was a lot of bread and a little filling. I thought the prices were a little steep and not at all the rating of ($).
But it was trendy and the place to try so we did.
Very closed in and cramped together when busy.

The Pig has really good food including: a grand variety of sandwiches, muffins, soups and breakfasts.
I'm not a coffee expert, but they have some excellent teas.
Love it!
I don't get to this place as often as I'd like but whenever I leave I wish I had tried 20 other things on the menu!I guess there is always next time!
Great Place!
The Pig is a great place to study and hang out with friends. The upstairs is pretty quiet and is a good place to read. The food is amazing...try the Panini's or the tuna salad...my favorites. Check it out......
