In ShortEverything here exudes a quiet dignity, from the portraits of prominent Chicagoans on the high walls to the attentive yet unobtrusive service. The classic steakhouse menu starts with flash-fried calamari and Beluga caviar, then moves on to the main event: Dry-aged steaks, charbroiled with butter and fresh garlic, then sliced and served up with a la carte sides of potatoes and vegetables. Desserts include standards like Key lime pie, cheesecake and creme brulee.

The Capital Grille only has two locations in Illinois and I love them both. I used to live downtown Chicago and found that there was no better treat than a good night at The Capital Grille. Now that I moved to the suburbs, The Capital Grille in Lombard is hoe away from home. I can't say enough about the food and the service makes my husband and I feel like royalty every time, especially for speacial occasions. If you want the best, look no further...........
Nothing but the absolute best!
By far the best restaurant in Chicago for anything relating to steaks, this place makes your catfish budget seem capable of purchasing caviar. Always a perfect filet mignon, a great selection of wines to complement them, delicious and large side dishes, and an array of exquisite deserts (flourless chocolate cake tops the devilish indulgements!) combined with knowledgeable, concerned wait staff make this a definite must-do if you're looking to impress that special someone. It certainly doesn't come at a light hit to the pocketbook, but the Capital Grille certainly gets your "satisfaction-per-dollar" meter pegged! Don't miss your chance to eat here! Make reservations very early and prepare yourself for a wonderful evening!

I love this place. The best service I've ever had at a restaurant. The servers know everything about what they are selling. Try the fried calamari appetizer, I go there just for that.
