Minutes away from the Loop and a few blocks from the United Center, Carmichael's is a favorite for hardcore carnivores for its hearty portions of steak, ribeye and prime rib. Seafood fans will be delighted to find excellent choices too, including the salmon and shrimp cocktail. More laid-back than Sullivan's, Capital Grille or Smith & Wollensky, the restaurant offers an atmosphere that is top shelf without the stuffiness. On weeknights -- when there's no game at United Center -- guests can enjoy their table conversations as light piano music floats in from the bar. An outdoor courtyard seats 100. Carmichael's also offers free shuttles to and from the United Center for big-name concerts and game season.

superb!
Just had dinner/drinks/desert there - SOOOO amazing! Steak was beyond delicious. had dirty martini that was PERFECT and then we really went hog wild and had the paper wrapped apple pie ala mode. Can't even describe how happy my taste buds are.

The food is cooked perfectly every time. The quality of the food is impecable and chef Dean has got to be one of the best chef's in the city. He comes over and talks to you like he's your best friend and that makes me comfortable.

Carmichael's has great food, great staff, great atmosphere and overall a great chef. The food is amazing, salads and dessert's are fantastic! Their kitchen crew seem very focus and passionate about what they're doing and it really shows on the plate. Best steaks around no doubt!
