In ShortThe dining room is comfortable, attractive and bustling. With its Gold Coast/Rush Street location and upscale supper-club setting, Carmine's sets quite a stage. The clubby, dark bar/dining area attracts a sophisticated, thirty- and forty-something crowd. In keeping with the Rosebud family dynamic, the menu is Taylor Street Italian fare, from chunky minestrone and house specialty chicken Vesuvio to satisfying zuppe di mare overflowing with perfectly cooked seafood and linguine in a tomato white-wine broth.

GREAT FOOD! GREAT SERVICE AND SOME OF THE BEST PEOPLE WATCHING ON THE STRIP. CARMINE'S NEVER DISSAPOINTS.
Absolutely Disappointing
What was supposed to be a special occasion turned out to be absolutely disappointing. Service was pretentious and food was barely edible. I don't know why so many people were there, but I will not be back!

I loved the food here it is Italian heaven.You can't possibly eat all that you get and can take it home for another hugh meal. Or better yet share a meal. Just devine!
Carmines
My husband and I went there last night for our anniversary, had 9 pm reservations in smoking... After waiting 45 minutes in a crowded bar our names were called for a table so we gave up our coveted bar stools only to be told our table was in non-smoking. The manager then put us at a table in a tent set up in the parking lot and said we could smoke there...oh ya with 100 people who requested non-smoking!! Before this happened a waitress in the bar was clearing glasses from the piano and spilled a stickey drink all over my pants...I said something to her and she THREW a napkin across the bar at me. Not to mention being hungry we will NEVER go there again. Also beware of valeting your car there...you'll wait at least 45 minutes for that! What a nightmare!
