The Food: Cuatro strives to bring the traditional flavors of Latin American and Caribbean cuisines in a modern, yet down-to-earth fashion; the approach is one of simplicity and boldness of flavors with an emphasis on popular Mexican cooking. The Space: Exposed beams, floor-to-ceiling windows, and well-spaced seating give this historic motor row style building an open, airy feel. Cuatro?s earth toned walls and warmly lit interior blend with colorful accents and rustic stained floors. Dark-stained walnut tables with plush chairs and booths welcome patrons to a comfortable environment to dine in or relax and unwind at the bar. Its centerpiece, a hand-crafted ebony bar, featuring an eight foot, see-into-the-kitchen tropical fish tank, cabaƱa like louvered shutters and ocean motifs pull together Cuatro?s Latin-Caribbean style.

Go Latin surrounded by Fish!

Fun, eclectic restaurant with great S. American style food. Decor very tasteful and unusual with a backdrop of 2 aquariums. Great bar although I was disappointed with the mojita - have had much better elsewhere. Food good on the whole although some dishes were too salty. Prices were reasonable. Music later on at night on weekends. There is another room decorated with art off to the side which is also available for larger private parties.

Outstanding!
By patriffe on 05/17/2006
From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome! The espresso brown palette accented with teal, turquoise and sea blue is toney and the combo playing mellow tunes on Mother's Day was just the best. Our waiter was friendly and funny without infusing himself into our day and the food was outstanding! Wonderful mimosas to start were just the beginning. The French toast stuffed with vanilla infused plantains was wonderful as were our other two entrees, but the sweet potato cake was dish-delish with mango salsa and coconut sorbet as accents. Coffee was a particularly special blend. It was a wonderful time for all 3 of us!
