dissapointed

We were really excited to try this restaurant, but after eating there, I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone. The menu looked good, but the taste of the food was very disappointing. A lot of the food was too sweet, it all needed a better balance of texture and flavor. we tried 6 dishes, avacado panna cotta, beet salad, potstickers, wild rice cake, and 2 dishes I can't recall.the broth with the potstickers was overwhelmingly strong, and the rice cake was blah. We are both vegetarian and love good food- maybe the chef should make a visit to Greens restaurant in San Francisco where the food strikes a good balance. On the plus side the service was wonderful and we really enjoyed dessert.

I FOUND THE SERVICE DELIGHTFUL, THE FOOD DELICIOUS AND INVITING AND MARGIE WAS INFECTIOUS WITH LAUGHTER. I JUST WISH THAT THERE WAS A SELECTION OF DESSERTS FOR DIABETICS. THE CHEF DID TAKE THE TIME TO CREATE A FRUIT SOUP FOR ME. CLASSY! WITH A CAPITOL "C"...THANK YOU..J. HOUSE

Ate there on 4/15/o4. Second night after they officially opened to the public. The food and service was beyond phenomenal!! Beautiful, modern & very chic store-front with minimalist decor, many booths and banquettes. Hearts of palm salad to die for....could have had 3 of those and been happy. Dumplings beyond compare and avocado....something or other was served like a dessert float with chips. Great place.... tried for reserv. following saturday and there booked until 10:00 p.m. I can see why. They will do well. Ask for Margie as your waitress...very knowledgeable about spices and textures of great menu!!! Bon Appetite.... as a frog would say!! LOL
