Unimpressive
By banwuting on 12/26/2006
The food was so so. My salad was average, no better than Wendy's madarin chicken salad. Our crab and lobster galette was too spicy with no taste of crab or lobster whatsoever. You could have called it tuna or chicken galette, or anything for that matter. My lamb shank was over cooked, hard on the edges. Our waiter, an older man, was totally disinterested and indifferent. I had to ask 3 different people 3 times to bring us bread. The staff who brought in food had no idea who ordered what. To top it of, they over-charged my credit card $49 and would not give me a credit slip to ensure my credit card was not over-charged! Given the quality of food and poor service, the price was too high.

Absolutely Wonderful
By suesimon on 04/19/2006
We have been going to this restaurant for special occasions for the past two years, and have had nothing but wonderful food, great service, and enjoyed tremendously the conversations with Susan, the wife of Michael Maddox, the chef. The sommelier is knowledgeable without pretention, and is never intrusive or insistent. The food is a notch above any French restaurant we have been to, including those in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. The preparation is lighter and more flavorful, and less heavy handed with the cream and butter. It has been our experience that if you treat the staff of any restaurant or hotel with consideration and respect, that is generally the service you get in return. This restaurant, with the expert service, phenomenal food, and friendly but non intrusive staff and warm and welcoming atmosphere, has become our favorite place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other special moments. We have also been enjoying the monthly wine dinners as well. Don't miss it!

Pathetic reproduction of a once fine establishment
By lpurrfect on 01/01/2005
I have been a customer for more than twenty years. If this new owner wants to make a go of it he had better learn the art of service and fine dining! He does not have a clue. Our new Years Eve(2005) was a nightmare...our waiter could not have been less attentive and rude...how about a cheseburger he exclaimed as put before us our $200 dinner! The back waiter did not even know what he was serving when questioned..oh some stuff he said..ugh! The owners wife is out of her league sadly missed is Judith..........it is off our list of places to go... 33 years of building Le Titi and they will be gone in a year at this rate.

We have been enjoying this restaurant for many years. The food, serivce and wine selection cannot be beat. Thanks to the chef we don't have to go all the way downtown to have a fabulous experience.
