One of Chicago?s finest dining experiences awaits you in this elegant town home setting that balances formality & friendliness. Your dinner may be paired with fine wines as uncommon ingredients come together in harmony. In operation for 25 years, Les Nomades remains true to its distinctive character as an oasis of civilized tranquility amidst the bustling activity of its Streeterville location. Culinary creations delight the most discriminating palates. Savor Sautéed Foie Gras, with roasted apricot; Roasted Breast & Confit Leg of Duck au jus with curry, or Duo of Roasted Quail & Bison, dandelion salad & red wine sauce with anchovy. Artisan cheeses are extraordinary & pastries are sublime; try Zesty Lime Tart, or Warm Flourless Chocolate Cake.

Excellent food and impeccable service

The food was delicious and very creative. The service was excellent, but not too intrusive. I would recommend this restaurant for business or pleasure.

Once Upon A Dinner Time
By turnoy on 02/02/2007
Not too long ago Les Nomades was perhaps my favorite dinning venue in Chicago, but, of course, that was when it was a private club. The objective was to keep the ambiance and charm - along with the polite {quiet} conversation and forbidden table-hop'g, as much of the goal as the haute cusine. The annual dues of a couple of dollars allowed the establishment to...be particular. Whether a working lunch not being overheard by the table adjacent, or, feeling no...intrusion from the rank and vile off the street, Les Nomades was a venue of distinction. While the building remains, its former charm has been diminished. As for the current menu offerings, yes, they are...creative, however, no longer being a private club, under the city of Chicago's recent ordinance, Fois Gras no longer graces the menu. This is one Chicago dinner that would prefer a step back in time.

"classic" french food
By tallguy6f3 on 01/19/2006
Outstanding food and service. Classic high end French dishes, not 'contemporary" or fusion. 1st class....highly recomended
