Don't let the name fool you. This steakhouse in Aurora offers far more than just steak. You can start your meal with the house specialty, charbroiled octopus, and then choose from pastas (try the Eight-finger Cavatelli and Artichoke Hearts), chicken, veal, seafood or brick oven pizza. That's not to say that you can't have steak: the menu features an extensive selection of cuts that the regulars maintain are always cooked to perfection. Lorenzo's serves dinner and lunch, offers catering services, and if you would like to have a party at the restaurant, they will customize the menu for you. Chicago residents have been known to travel quite a distance just to dine here -- they come not only for the food, but for the ambiance and great prices as well. One of the Best

Tried it again for dinner last Sunday. Good front door staff, beautiful, whimsical room, fantastic menu and even better food! Large portions at reasonable prices, VERY fresh ingredients, and clear attention to detail. Great bread too! Really a nice place, and one of our favs.

Have enjoyed several lunches and dinners here. First rate pasta, excellent service and really GREAT strip steaks! Usually crowded on weekends, make a reservation.

We've been to Lorenzo's a few times and it's been "passable', but never outstanding. The atmosphere is nothing special. We've found the service a bit inconsistent and ambiguous. It's not a bad restaraunt by any means, but for the $$$$ we expect more.

My family has been going here since Lorenzo's opened. We go out to eat often and Lorenzo's is the only restaurant where we always received consistently high quality food as well as fantastic service. We have never been disappointed. Lorenzo's food and service are far better than other high profile Italian or steakhouse restaurants in the area. Go early or make reservations on weekends since they are often busy.
