Piazza Bella Osteria   

Piazza Bella knows Italian. Always a greeting and a smile. Awesome service, Old style bar and the food is beyond words when it comes to Italian eating. Very intimate setting in Roscoe Village, better come hungry because you are going home full and with a doggy bag. I have no problem driving in from Evanston.

The food at Piazza Bella is always fresh, and never over seasoned. Many restaurants try too hard. Unlike Rosebud or Topo Gigio, Piazza has mastered its menu and never tries to be something it is not. Do not miss the Piazza Salad, and never shy away form special requests

The food is fantastic, the service is great, the only problem is when we have gone to Piazza Bella (several times) there are families with young screaming infants. So much for a romantic Italian meal.
