Wholly Frijoles   

They have the best tortilla soup I've ever had. I've had good waiters & waitresses & I've had so-so ones. That is why I've given them a rating of good when they could have a very good or excellent. The food has always been most tasty & the price is right.

Wholly Frijole tries to be creative with Mexican food, but all they accomplish is a fair approximation of what Mexican food ought to taste like. To summarize, they try too hard to justify the mediocre product. More importantly, their customer service is terrible. I took someone dear to me to WF for a birthday and was charged a $10 "CAKE FEE" for bringing my own cake. This is inexcusably poor business practice. Fair food, poor customer service, poor restaurant.

THE FOOD -- BEYOND EXCELLENT!!! Fabulous flavors, beautiful presentation! THE PROBLEM -- there is ALWAYS A WAIT no matter what day you go -- and I'm not talking 2o minutes -- more like 1 to 2 hours -- in addition I've been asked if I want to share a table with other couples -- not what I call a romantic evening! They definitely need a bigger locale -- and some of the waitresses need an attitude adjustment also!! The hostess is a sweetheart!!
