It may seem like a hole-in-the-wall to you, but big things are happening at the Wooden Horse Tavern. Located in Springfield Township, this intimate neighborhood bar features some of the city's best musical talent. Country music up-and- comers like Dallas Moore are a regular feature and pack in folks of all musical tastes. Blues, rock and oldies musicians keep the fans happy on weekends. During the week, regulars keep the three pool tables busy or just enjoy a cheap, casual meal of wings, potato skins, burgers and the like. Depending on the musical guest, the crowd ranges from classically old to hillbilly country. A little off the beaten path, but if you're looking for a neighborhood bar with cheap food and good music, it's worth the drive. -- Annie McManis

This film is one of the best I've seen in a few years. A very engaging and emotional film, this is Clive Owen at his best. Then coupled with supurb performances by Jullian Moore and Micheal Caine, and you got a rare gem in the fact that far presedes the story-telling quality of the book. I would be surprised if it were not up for best picture. Keeps you the edge of your seat at times and other times, it touches you in a way unseen in most films nowdays. I give this gem two thumbs up and five stars. Bravo.

This place is definitely a 10 star bar. Brian and his staff kick butt and you can always be sure to have a good time without any trouble or attitudes! Just stay away from The Mind Erasers a specialty of the house. If you haven't been here yet you don't know what your missin! Don't miss Twisted Fate proud to be A HORSE regular or any of the other bands playing here. Brian's got a decent ear for music and doesn't book crap, more than once! DESIGNATE!
