Tavern On the Hill   

2/18/05 Had dinner at Mangia Osteria. The service was excellent. The food was good but not great. I had the veal scallopine and my wife had the ossobucco.By New York ,Philadelphia,or Chicago standards this restaurant is a 2/5.

I have been to many Cincinnati restaurants owned by famous chefs in the Cincinnati area and, frankly, few have lived up to my expectations. Finally, I have found a restaurant that is worth raving about: Mangia Osteria in the Mount Adams area of Cincinnati. I was VERY impressed by Mangia Osteria's exquisite cuisine(the menu changes on a daily basis, providing the opportunity to try many different menu items), superb service, elegant ambiance that is both classy and cozy, and a wine list that cannot be rivaled. I could not believe my eyes when I received my check; I would have paid twice as more at other local fine dining establishments! Mangia Osteria is, by far, the BEST restaurant in Cincinnati, and I highly recommend it to EVERYONE!!
