A British Pub in a historic German Village? That's right, but this is no ordinary Americanized British pub -- the Cock & Bull is for true beer lovers. With more than 18 imported beers on tap and dozens more in the bottle, this pub boasts one of the city's largest selections of imports. The hip MainStrasse setting means the clientele is diverse -- from single twentysomethings to couples and families. Pub grub includes British staples like fish-and-chips and bangers-and-mash, as well as American favorites like burgers and chicken. Service is always friendly, and rarely will you be able to finish a pint before another is offered. Sidewalk tables are great for people watching, too. So if you're in the mood for good American-British pub grub in the heart of the MainStrasse village, Cock & Bull is a great bet.

horrible service

my husband and i live a couple blocks away from the **** and bull. when we moved to the village we started frequenting the pub regularly and it was wonderful! the speciatly pint nights were great and the fish was some of the best in town and home of the best outdoor seating. over the past few months the service and atmosphere has gone down hill, fast. a sincere disappointment. the last couple times we stopped in for dinner and drinks, we weren't even greeted within 15-20 minutes. servers/bartenders just plainly look us over. they just have no repsect for the locals around this joint anymore....i have seen several potential customers walk away from the pub disappointed each time we visited. now we will never go back.

cant speak as to the food as i havent eaten here, but owners let me read tarot there so i love em. great crowds and general wonderful atmosphere and nice view of fountain. like the outside patio sidewalk thing goin on.
