Mashed potatoes and mac 'n' cheese on a Tex-Mex menu? If you're looking for authentic south-of-the-border cuisine, this isn't it. But if you're looking for good, spicy food, huge portions and loads of starchy carbohydrates, then you've found the right place. Forget about your Atkins' diet and dive right into the basket of warm, salty chips delivered with chunky homemade salsa. Then load up your entree choice of burritos, fajitas, enchiladas, tacos or whatever with a side of the house favorites: mashed potatoes and Tex-Mex macaroni -- both are a mildly spicy, buttery, creamy and filling. Although the Tex-Mex dishes are the namesake here, the steaks are the best bargain. The New York strip and the carne asada are as good as what you'll find at expensive steakhouses, but at much more reasonable prices. Great margaritas round out the meal.

Coyote Grille Even Better

I have been a long time diner at El Coyote and have always enjoyed the Food and Especially the Margaritas. The new restaurant the owner opened in West Chester, "Coyote Grille", is as Emeril Says, "Kicked up a Knotch" Great atmosphere, a more friendly service staff, the same great food and with some items even better and the margaritas most importantly are the same. Thanks for bringing great Tex-Mex to the North side.

No more smoke

The place has gone smokless except for the bar area. The new owner seems he is there to please. Food the past three times has been very good as well as the service. We had stopped going due to the massive smoke but since learning that problem has been taken care of...we can't stay away from the margaritas....BEST in town.
