Lemon Grass   

When your neighborhood haunt is an intimate Thai place with great food and limited seating, you hope the word never gets out past the neighbors. Such is the case with Hyde Parkers who've dined at Lemon Grass. Situated along a busy strip of Madison Road near the Rookwood Commons shopping complex, Lemon Grass can easily be missed by those not in-the-know -- and that's what some folks count on. Seating is limited in the one-room dining room, but a few stools are usually open at the small bar at one end of the room to ride out the wait. Guests dine on traditional Thai favorites, like pik pow and paad Thai while sipping Tsing Tao beer or a glass of wine. Early in the evening, the cash register constantly rings with carry-out orders being picked up on the way home from work for a simple dinner. --Annie McManis
