Any bar where you can throw peanuts on the floor is a top-notch establishment. R.P. McMurphy's laid-back atmosphere has made it a fast favorite among East Siders as well as young professionals looking for a local hangout. The renovated house-cum-bar sits along a fairly busy street in one Cincinnati's nicest neighborhoods, so the front patio is a prime people-watching spot. More than a dozen beers on tap and big screen TVs also make this a favorite spot to enjoy the game. Although the bar doesn't serve food, bartenders are equipped with menus from nearby establishments that offer carryout or delivery to hungry patrons. Occasional live music on the weekends, euchre tournaments and bus trips to Bengals games help bring together a fun crowd.

Cheers to the Irish!!!
On any given evening the bar is hopping with a lively young crowd enjoying live music ranging from traditional Irish/Celtic to pop to folk. Drinking McMurphy's has a great selection of import draft and bottled beer along with top shelf liquor including the top of the line single malt scotches. They also have an wide range of martinis and coffee drinks. The place is busting at the seams with a diverse group of young professionals from happy hour until close. On the weekends McMurphy's has a great outdoor area in the summer time to enjoy friends, great music and an excellent selection of spirits.
