Bank on creative dishes, friendly service and a roomful of well-dressed twenty-and thirtysomethings at this popular Hyde Park eatery. After all, the dining room -- light and airy -- betrays many visible signs of its former tenant, the Hyde Park Savings and Loan. Bar tables are framed in the former teller windows, and the vault has been opened up to create an intimate single-table dining room. Entrees play off culinary trends, and the chef frequently adds seasonal specials highlighting fresh ingredients. Happy hour draws young professionals for the Appetizer Trio Tower and the selection of imported beers, microbrews and boutique wines. Expect to wait for a table on weekend evenings, especially if you want to sit on the upstairs outdoor patio. Teller's proximity to Hyde Park businesses makes it an ideal location for a casual business lunch or a respite from window-shopping. Given all that, we'd say Teller's provides a pretty good return on your investment.

Favorite Cincy Restaurant

My wife and I live in Chicago, but we visit family in Cincy quite often. We make sure we visit Teller's each time we're in town. The food is great, the atmosphere is lively, and it's a perfect place to meet with our friends for dinner and cocktails. I reccommend the following: House salad (bib lettuce, gorgonzola, cranberries, pinenuts, and rasberry viniagrette; buffalo chix egg rolls & diver scallops appetizers; best entrees are the pacific salmon and the filet mignon oscar. Extensive wine and beer list tops everything off.

I had not been in 2 yrs and had always enjoyed this place, esp at lunchtime. What I was looking forward to last night at dinner was a flight of wine. My waitress did not even know what a flight was, had to ask and said " no we dont do that any more." Food was good, not great but good. Definately a great people watching place, esp if you are in your twenties.
