Good--but Pricey
By scotlepage1960 on 03/05/2005
I should have known when I saw a Maibach parked outside that this place was a tad expensive! The food IS good, but I would take Barassi's for a better value AND better ambiance. I ordered the daily special (veal chop) without asking the price and was shocked when I found out it was $44.00! My bill for two people was $150.00 (it DID include 4 glasses total of wine). Ouch!

Frequent Dinner
By davestike on 01/26/2005
The food was great, the service was all you could ask for, so what was the problem. One, tables for four is all they have. We were a party of eight so we had to sit at different tables. They were next to each other but it would have been nice to sit together. Two, the average cost may be $17.00 but be sure to ask if it's one of the "specials." Our special was a nickel short of $45.00. That sort of took the fun out of the experience. We won't be going back.

Skip the Tiramisu, but..
By jnajar1 on 06/11/2004
Dined here with another couple to celebrate our wedding anniversary and her birthday last week. Wonderful service, great food; try the Pasta Mista! We ordered three desserts to share, but the aforementioned raspberry pie was by far the favorite! Don't bother with the tiramisu, it was not extraordinary.

Raspberry Pie to Die For
By wilson76 on 02/28/2000
This fine Italian Restaurant has wonderful food, great service and above all consistency. Germano himself is always there and you couldn't be happier. They have a nice wine list but above all dessert - The Raspberry cream pie is to die for. The service is always great. As many times as we have been there, there has never been a bad meal or bad service. You can come dressed up or in sports casual. I would not wear jeans. it can have a romantic atmosphere if you are with the right person. Average cost is about $17.00 and it is worth every bite. We eat out at least 4 times a week for dinner and cost is not in qustion when it come to good food and service.
