Two very simple things keep Harpo's so popular: the games and the food. Plainly put, Harpo's is the archetypical sports bar, from the Otto Graham autographed jersey hanging in a glass to the neon Indians logo glowing off to the side of the bar. The large room features 32 monitors and four big screens tied into 20 satellite feeds, ensuring that you can catch that late-season Mets-Braves tilt somewhere in the corner while all the Steelers and Browns fans taunt each other around you (yes, Steelers fans are welcome, and may in fact comprise the majority of football fans here). And they are unabashed in their taunting. The reasonable draft and bottle beer selection comes cheap, and if you want to bring your kids, they won't have a problem choosing from the Harpo's menu, heavy on the typical sports bar fare. But if you want to focus on the game, send the young ones to the rear of the bar for pool, air hockey and video games to get them out of your hair for a while.
