When it comes to local flavor, diners may have it more than any other type of place. Regulars are the rule at these small eateries, and everybody seems to know everybody else. It's no different here. Seating is fairly limited and more than fairly simple, with four-top tables filling the restaurant opposite the bar. And it fills up fast at peak times. A handful of diners can sit outside and eat under the sun while cars whiz by on Clifton. Regulars will come in and plop down on one of the 10 or so barstools, where they can read their morning paper over breakfast or simply chit-chat with the waitresses as they hustle by. The food is quick, easy to fix and easier to eat -- a host of comfort foods with breakfast served all day, including eight varieties of omelets.
