Guarino's Restaurant   

Six of us ate at Guarino's after attending the Cleveland orchestra and were l pleased. Food was good , well presented with a friendly waitress , who was not overwhelming. The old world charm of lace and compactness adds to the event. The host was marvelous and will do a presentation for our historic restaruant group. Individual checks were not problem.

Service and atmosphere is good. Food just ok. We expected much more.

we ate at this so called Italian restaurant (or did they mean food that tasted like it was made from a frozen t.v dinner.) The food was not good at all, my friends and I spent over 35.00 a person for dinner. That was 34.99 more then it was worth. The service was not good , and the food need I say more! it would not hurt to scrub the place down, its dirty!

I chose to dine at Guarino's because of it's reputation for a plate of good italian cuisine. Although I must compliment the decor and the marinara, I must say, Guarino's is no place to take a date, or a brother, or a sister, or a spouse, or a mom or a dad or anybody with whom you'd like to share a nice experience. Perhaps it was just an 'off' night for the place, but the food was atrocious--it had obviously been sitting under the heater for quite some time. The meat was leathery, tough, crusty and stale. The salad was not wilted, but spoiled. The service left much to be desired. Overall, I would not recommend this establishment and will not be returning there.
