Dave & Buster's isn't necessarily a place for kids -- only folks 21 and up are allowed without a parent or guardian -- but it's perfect for families. It's not somewhere to go to just for dinner, but it has a lengthy menu on par with other theme restaurants. And while its pair of bars tune their many TVs to any variety of sports, it's the games people play on their own that's the ultimate draw. The center of the vast site in Westlake, the chain's only location in Northeast Ohio, is the midway, filled with the flashing lights of arcade games, simulators and other hands-on attractions. Smack in the middle is the bar, where you can grab drinks, watch TV or meet up with folks -- the happy hour makes it a big after-work destination. But most grab a beer and move straight away to any one of the games that seem to suit every taste: massive attractions in which you can sit inside a car or on a motorcycle, or smaller, old-school combo machines. Quarters will do you no good -- D&B issues rechargeable, swipeable cards to use in games. If you have a hankering for pool, a large billiards hall stands adjacent to the site's other bar.
