Rate and Write a Review Need more proof of Cleveland's burgeoning legitimacy? Nothing better signifies a city's hip status than a trendy downtown sushi bar. Ginza, a chic Japanese bistro just up the street from Jacobs' Field, serves sushi and hibachi to the metropolis elite at prices the average pedestrian won't find prohibitive. Doctors, lawyers and office workers comprise the lunchtime crowd here, but at dinner you'll often see celebrities sporting chopsticks around Ginza's authentically styled Japanese dining room. Indians, Browns, Rockers and Cavs players, and even visiting rock stars, have been known to stop in for a few rolls now and again. Tribe center fielder Kenny Lofton is such a big fan that his favorite item, the caterpillar roll, has been renamed in his honor (the "Kenny roll" is on Ginza's sushi ala carte menu). Other popular items include the steak or chicken hibachi specialties, as well as the green tea, red bean or ginger ice cream for dessert. Prices are moderate, by sushi standards: $20 will get you about ten pieces of fish.-- Konstantine Simakis
