One of a handful of Cleveland's five star restaurants, Giovanni's has consistently delighted visitors with its exquisite Italian cuisine and otherworldly romantic setting. Although housed in a bland Beachwood office complex, a renovation to the interior of Giovanni's has enhanced the restaurant's classic charm -- even the TV over the bar is elegantly framed. But the real artistry is saved for the brilliantly prepared Italian fare. Try penne rigate alla carbonera con panna, which translates into a marvelous pasta dish with pancetta, parmigiana and cream. Seafood dishes are also featured in abundance -- consider sampling the Atlantic salmon, which is grilled and served with roast apple roulade, potato crisps and citrus beurre blanc. Any of the desserts is a winner, but the tiramisu here is super deluxe. -- Marie Andrusewicz
