Pier W, a landmark Cleveland restaurant, has been serving a critically acclaimed seafood and contemporary menu since May 11, 1965. Having recently undergone a $3 million interior renovation, the new Pier W resembles a sophisticated luxury liner cantilevered over Lake Erie offering dramatic views of both the Lake and the downtown Cleveland skyline. We would like to request that shorts, flip flops and baseball caps are not worn to the restaurant.

Welcome to Long John Silver's

I have no idea why this place is considered a best of anything. The absolute only aspect of this restaurant that is in any way mentionable is its location on the lake that allows for a moderately scenic view. Although even that is obviated for the most part at night (when most people dine) because of the darkness. Beyond that, the decor is done in campy, old plastic mounted fish and netting hanging from the bar. The food is average at best... Not terrible but definitely nothing to write home about. The service was sophmoric owing mainly to the age of the servers. I think that perhaps this locale might have previously offered a more respectable presentation of a unique dining experience, but unfortunately I fear those days are long gone.
