Hatch Cover   

I thought that the food was excellent and the atmosphere was just what we need around here. I se that everyone is so fast to pass judgment. This is the best its been a very ,very long time. I came here when it was Josephs hatchcover and my oh my, it was horrible. I do not like to be taken and indeed we were back then. Now, its great food and it is a fun atmosphere, we really had a great time. Thumbs up for the new owners and never mind the negative. Most likely people who could not use a 10yr old coupon or expected a "lobster" with a coupon for the menu you have now. Just want something for nothing. Someone will find any reason to bad mouth anything if they cannot get away everything they want. I understand what it takes to run any business and nobody is perfect. So, keep it up and the new bathrooms look great and we love the fact it doesnt smell like smoke Good Job!!. We had a wonderful time. Nice to have great food and a fun atmosphere and it is what it is, no dishonesty. Thank you. We will be back!!! Love the the new and fresh attitude. Dr. Mark

This used to be a classy place to eat.... but no longer.

I have to write this review for the mere fact of a comment made recently (last review) and that most of these older reviews are from when Joseph owned the hatch. The great reviews started after the new owners took over. Its hard to change a place that needed so much changing. I takes time and they are doing everything they can from what we have seen to keep changing things that need it. It fustrates me to see a review posted 5 months after an issue on Christmas day. If it was so important to you why did you wait 5 months? I go there all the time as do a lot of my friends. It is finally a place that is fun with great food and they keep doing more and more to make it better. I was there the same night the person below was talking about and I had a GREAT time as we always do, and at 34 yrs old it is nice to have a fun, safe and fullfilling place to go The new owners that have taken over Josephs have done a great job. Sometimes there are bad days for every business, especially in the food industry. It just makes me mad that a 5 month old complaint is put on here. I love what they have done and now me and my wife can go to a place that has great food and is great fun. Usually you cannot have both. Thumbs up to the Hatch Cover!!!!! We love it! Love the new remodeling too - those bathrooms really needed a little TLC - Thanks! You care and thats what makes us come back. Ethan M.

When you serve alchahol you legally have to serve some food . Christmas evening 2006, went for a drink and, we thought, some chips at least . The waitress, even when asked ,brought us no food of any type.
