Formerly known as the Tabu Club, the Party Zone has kept the interior the same. Black-and-yellow construction signs still cover the walls. Though the ambience is industrial, the music is not. The DJ-spun beats range from R&B and rap to dance and a sprinkling of rock. Party Zone is rarely the first stop on people's itineraries for a night out, so it doesn't start to get crowded until later in the evening. But if you decide to head over early, there are some well-serviced billiard tables and a dance floor where you can practice your flailing interpretive dance moves before the crowd thickens.
