As its name suggests, the Underground Bar is a hangout for alternative-style partyers. The bi- level club hosts live music concerts and DJs that play to a diverse crowd. Ska, funk and alternative bands play weekly. A large, slippery- when-wet dance floor takes up much of the space on the bottom floor. If you're in a dancing mood, be sure to wear stain-retardant clothing; it can get pretty packed and sweaty in there. One second you're groovin', the next you're soaked by someone else's drink. Underground also has billiard tables, dartboards, foosball and shuffleboard games. Wednesday night caters to a 21-and-under crowd, but even on other nights, the crowd tends to skew young. Underground is a bar, cafe and dance club all in one, so if you're hungry, you can just skip over next door for some eats.
